Abstract

This essay is meant to establish a dialogue between advocates of two kinds of environmentalism. I want to introduce process thinkers to a neo-Teilhardian environmental movement that I will call the epic of evolution tradition, and I want to introduce advocates of the epic tradition to the environmental dimensions of process thought. There is more wisdom in the two traditions taken together than in either considered alone, and I want to encourage participants in the two traditions to work together.
