The express purpose of this article is to defend the thought of Stanley Hauerwas against criticisms leveled from the process-relational perspective of Leslie Muray.  In addition, theological challenges are made of process theology and affinities between the Christian virtue thinking of Hauerwas and process thought as articulated by Muray are cautiously noted.
