Abstract

This is a dialectical response to criticisms by Charles Hartshorne, John Cobb, and Lewis Ford of my book, Creativity and God, which in turn was a criticism of Whitehead's and their own process theologies.  Discussing themes such as subjective immediacy, perpetual perishing, evil, and comparative religious dialogue, the paper argues that a non-process theology is better sensitive to the religious contrast between terror and glory.  [Abstract from The Philosopher's Index]
