Hallman, Joseph M. "How is Process Theology Theological?" Process Studies 17, no. 2 (Summer 1988): 112-7.
Abstract
Most process theologians do philosophical rather than systematic theology but are usually unaware of the distinction. The usual public is the secular academy rather than the church. This results in too little attention paid to specifically Christian data, such as the resurrection of Jesus, the real presence in the eucharist, and the normative status of scripture. If these and similar claims were taken more seriously, Whitehead's philosophy could support Christian systematics just as well as philosophical theology. [Abstract from The Philosopher's Index]
