Abstract

Two types of argumentation regarding the experience of value are necessary to theistic philosophy.  One describes the experience of value in order to identify the relevant evidence for theistic interpretation.  Another analyzes the concepts utilized in such a description in order to specify and to clarify its ontic, as well as its noetic presuppositions.  The work of Schubert Ogden is exemplary in both respects.  [Abstract from The Philosopher's Index]
