Abstract
Whitehead was a leading member of the committee that wrote a new degree syllabus for an M.A. in history and philosophy of science for University College, London. The syllabus, here reproduced, fills in some background of Science and the Modern World, and directs attention to problems that continued to occupy Whitehead in Process and Reality and Modes of Thought. It is a typical example of his way of applying his philosophical theories to educational applications. [Abstract from The Philosopher's Index]
