Platt, David.  “Does Whitehead's God Possess a Moral Will?”  Process Studies 5, no. 2, (Summer 1975): 114-122.

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to answer criticisms that Whitehead's doctrine of God lacks moral significance, interpreting moral significance in a Kantian sense.  God serves as a lure for moral creativity as well as other kinds of creativity.  Moral satisfaction and growth are as important for Whitehead's God as are other kinds of value.  Thus Whitehead's God does possess a moral will.
