Abstract
In reply to Cobb's proposal to conceive of the relation between dominant and nondominant occasions within the brain in terms of regional inclusion, I develop a theory of nondominant enduring objects, or subordinate persons, more bound to the reiterative aims of the body than the ultimate percipient. In thus socializing the supposedly non-social nexus supportive of unified mentality, I propose a 'division of labor' within the brain. I then support this model by examples from neurophysiology.
