Abstract

An attempt, in 26 sections, to analyze genetic identity in general and personal identity in particular in terms of the Buddhist-Whiteheadian or "process" view, taking unit-events as the most concrete units of reality rather than "substances".  The 26 items resulted from the effort to make the analysis as nearly exhaustive as possible, and to defend it against possible objections and rival views, including personalism.  [Abstract from The Philosopher’s Index]
