Abstract
In the domain of
contemporary Western economies, more and more scholars use Post-modern
way of thinking. They challenge and question the dominance of the
modern theory of economy, and from this ground, made a number of rich
insights on a post-modern concept of economic theory. For example,
"Post-modern green economic thought", "Post-modern steady economic
theory", "postmodern continual development economic theory" and so forth. John
Cobb Jr.'s postmodern eco-economic theory" is one of the most
representatives of such theory. Being the world's influential
postmodern philosopher, John Cobb Jr. is known to the world as"process
studies' main interpreter." This philosophical thinking, scientific
thinking and ideology thinking is studied and researched by people in
China, but still few have researched the economic theory. Cobb did not
directly research specific issues in economics; instead he place
economics in a larger domain, examining it under postmodernism.
