Abstract

Process theology is a significant theological movement in America, which bases itself on the philosophical framework of A.N. and Whitehead.  Although process theologians are not homogenous and may be classified as either empirical or rational, these theologians have attempted to articulate an understanding of the relation of God and the world, of divine activity, and of Christology, which does not rely on classical metaphysical views.
