Abstract
The “good” is linked to a concept of wholeness derived from D. Bohn’s process philosophy (1980). The author proposes a model of development whereby the emergence of stable phenomena from a flux of potentiality proceeds toward holonomic order. It is suggested that holonomic order enables people to see or experience a larger meaning or wholeness while fragmentary order implies disconnectedness and conflict.
