Abstract

Introduction looks at the historical tensions related to mind/matter controversy and argues that the overemphasis on a ‘scientific approach’ conflicts with the common experiences of practicing psychologists. The process philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead is then proposed as a foundational bridge that can reconnect these disparate factions.
