Abstract

In this book, Ervin Laszlo examines the patterns of change and transformation in the cosmos, in the biological species, and in modern society in order to create a "grand evolutionary synthesis." Such a synthesis, he writes "can give us the large-scale map that shows us where we are in nature's scheme and that can allow us to identify the processes that decide the future of our societies, and thus of ourselves."
