Author sketches a model of theological reflection based on the process philosophy of A.N. Whitehead. He explicates the meaning and relevance of the notions of “dominant theological experience” and “contrasting experiences” to the idea of “enactment” and how such a dynamic interplay can lead to an integration of formal theological knowledge and concrete, pastoral experience.
