Kegley, Jacquelyn A.  “Commentary on Hartshorne's Level of Creativity.” (Unpubl.)

Abstract

Hartshorne avoids Wieman’s reductionism through his identification of an independent (transcendent) as well as immanent (social) aspect of godhead and his refusal to identify God merely with the creative process.  Creative value for Hartshorne involves not only the immediate subject but also its successors and can be seen in terms of the offering of  possibilities to future occasions.
