Abstract

Author takes the philosophy of A.N. Whitehead and other primary sources and uses this framework to reinterpret the nature and dynamics of the pastoral care encounter.  Central ideas of process philosophy are then integrated with other contemporary psychotherapies (e.g. Jung, Maslow, Assagioli) in a discussion on creative transformation, evil, God, and the Church.
