Abstract

The main thrust of the essay is to reveal that both thinkers, belonging to the strain of process philosophy, came up with fundamentally similar ideas on the nature of a human being.  Both, for clarity sake, resorted to  morphological analysis on the nature but, in the final analysis, both emphasized the genetic aspect.  Thus, terms used by both reflect their unique cultural backgrounds but essentially they refer to the same dynamic nature of man's setting in the world.  [Abstract from The Philosopher’s Index]
