Abstract
Aim is to examine the compatibility between the two. Main contribution of process philosophy is that we creatures make a difference to God, that he is receptive toward us, not just giving. Incompatible positions: God is not true creator, source of being for creatures, only their guide and co-worker. God is not the source of creativity in creatures; it springs up independently in all, hence radical duality between God and a world given to him with its own creativity. Also no actual infinity in the being of God, but divine consciousness is receptive to creatures, "different" because of them, not "changing". [Abstract from The Philosopher's Index]
