MSA 2017 Annual Meeting at Harvard (March 30-April 2)
President Nancy K. Frankenberry has arranged a terrific program for us in Cambridge, and I write now to urge you to register and attend!
A draft of the program on "The Metaphysics of Contingency" is attached below. As always, we convene at the conference hotel (Marriott Courtyard-Cambridge) on Thursday afternoon for a session of the SSPP (Society for Study of Process Philosophies), and a welcoming reception (included in your registration fee). Our Friday morning program commences at Harvard's Hillel Center (Beren Hall) with our keynote speaker, philosopher and writer Rebecca Newberger Goldsmith. The Friday program concludes with the annual Presidential Address by Prof. Frankenberry, after which (at sunset) we return to the hotel for a reception and the annual banquet (also included in your registration fee). We have a full and exciting program of talks remaining on Saturday, concluding Sunday morning.
You may register on the home page of the MSA (www.metaphysicalsociety.org), and pay with a credit card. There is a link there to special conference lodging rates at the hotel, about 1/2 mile from the Hillel Center.
Finally, let me ask your help in calling these details to the few of our colleagues who do not use, or have no access to email or the internet, as we are no longer using surface mail. Our election ballots will soon be distributed and collected via email to all who are current in their payment of annual MSA dues. See everyone in Cambridge in late March!
