God/god and Management

    In order to further efforts to establish management, itself, as a subject worthy of philosophical and theological analysis this call for papers is established.

    We recognize that the use of the word God/god is fraught with all kinds of challenges. It is with that in mind that we invite authors and researchers to submit on a broad spectrum of understandings to a special issue of the Philosophy of Management Journal, on the question of ‘God/god and management’.

    Alternative Futures: Pathways Toward Ecological Civilization

    This interactive conference seeks to explore and inspire new “social imaginaries” through case studies that represent real alternatives in humanity’s movement toward positive futures.

    New Frontiers in Theology

    When the crisis hit theology in the 1960s, a group of avant garde theologians—including a young radical named John B. Cobb, Jr.—launched a series of books with the title “New Frontiers in Theology.” The bold suggestions offered by this leading group influenced a generation of theologians. If they were working today, what schools and innovations would they highlight?

    Astrobiology and Process Theology

    Derek Malone-France is Associate Professor of Philosophy, of Religion, and of Writing, at the George Washington University, in Washington, DC.  He is also founding Seminar Director for the Blumberg Dialogues in Astrobiology and Human Society at the John W. Kluge Center, at the US Library of Congress, and a Consultant to the Astrobiology Institute at the National Aeronautic and Space Administration (NASA) and the Lunar and Planetary Institute at the Universities Space Research Association.
